Amie Newman has lived in Tyler since 1981 and is excited to be part of the Bridgemark staff.
Mrs. Newman is all too familiar with the difficulties of learning differences, as she personally struggled in school from an early age.
She is the mom to three amazing children. One of her sons attended the Gow School in New York for four years. Therefore, when she heard that a school in Tyler, TX, was opening for students with learning differences, she immediately registered her youngest son, Branton.
The Newmans are one of the charter Bridgemark families, and Branton was the youngest student enrolled in the inaugural year.
From the time Bridgemark opened its doors, Mrs. Newman has faithfully served as a volunteer. Bridgemark soon realized that she was an invaluable addition to the staff.
Mrs. Newman serves our staff and students throughout the day beginning with early morning drop-off to end-of-day pickup. From teaching a SEE group to assisting with math groups to providing supervision and support for afternoon classes, Mrs. Newman is the “heart and soul” of Bridgemark!
