Ashley Rutledge graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Social Work. She has a double major in social work and sociology and worked as a licensed social worker for eleven years. After that, Mrs. Rutledge decided to go back and get her teachers certification in Special Education, Generalist, and English as a Second Language (ESL)
Mrs. Rutledge has a passion for teaching and feels that every child can learn. She feels that learning can be a positive experience, which is what she hopes to bring to her students at Bridgemark. In June 2015, she attended the Sequential English Education (S.E.E.) program, and officially became a CALP, Certified Academic Language Practitioner, in 2017.
In 2003, she married her husband, Mitch, and they have two beautiful children. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Rutledge enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
