Danelle Mooney graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Upon graduation, she accepted a position at a power trading company in the Metroplex area but always felt called to teach. In 2013, Mr. Mooney assumed the pastorate of a local church, and the Mooney family moved from the Dallas area, allowing Mrs. Mooney to be a stay-at-home mom for a season.

Mrs. Mooney is married to Chad, and they have two boys who attend Bridgemark. After seeing what an incredible school Bridgemark is and how it changed her children’s lives, Mrs. Mooney felt it was time to pursue her long-awaited dream to teach.

Mrs. Mooney has attained her Teaching Certification at Texas Teachers of Tomorrow in addition to Sequential English Education training at The Shelton School in Dallas. She is currently working to receive her Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) certification.

Mrs. Mooney believes that there is a measure of greatness in every student and is committed to Bridgemark’s mission. She loves the nurturing atmosphere at Bridgemark and is profoundly grateful to be able to teach in such a special place.

In her free time, Mrs. Mooney likes to spend time with her family, listen to true crime podcasts, garden, decorate, take her schnauzers for walks, and read biographies. In the summer, you will find the Mooneys pulling their travel trailer all over Texas and the surrounding states!
