
Jane Adams was born in Boulder, Colorado, and graduated as salutatorian from Nederland High School, a small mountain school, in 1975. She went to the University of Colorado and received her degree in Art Education in 1979.
Mrs. Adams started her teaching career as a traveling art teacher serving three elementary schools and 1,500 students in Longmont, Colorado.
Her family journey took her to Montana, Michigan, Kansas, and finally Texas. She taught elementary art for 33 years at All Saints Episcopal School in Tyler, retiring in 2021. She decided to jump back into teaching after visiting Bridgemark.
Mrs. Adams has been married to her husband, Cal, since 1975. They have two sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and the best grandkids ever: Wilfred, Marvin, and Annie Jane. In her spare time, she loves to garden, hike, play tennis, and be with her dogs.
