Jennifer Roeland graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in grades 1-8 in English, Reading, and Self-Contained classroom. She completed all training requirements to become a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP).
Before graduating, she accepted a first-grade teaching position at Grace Community School. She taught there for two years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to two newly adopted babies. Mrs. Roeland also taught Pre-K at Oak Tree Academy for several years while her daughters attended there.
She homeschooled her children and taught several classes at their homeschool co-op. Over the last 19 years of being a stay-at-home mom, the Roelands have adopted 3 more children into their family. During that time, Mrs. Roeland has been very involved in the PTA at the schools that her children attended and has held several positions on those PTA boards.
Mrs. Roeland began substitute teaching at Bridgemark after her daughter began attending in January 2020. She transitioned to a full-time position and enrolled her son as well. She wholeheartedly believes in the philosophy and mission of Bridgemark and feels that she is called to be a part of this incredible school.
