Misty Natera graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science in Education EC-6. She is certified in Elementary Education, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Special Education (SPED) EC-12.
In 2022, Mrs. Natera became a certified EC-12 Reading Specialist, while adding a Dyslexia Diagnosis and Intervention Certificate in 2024. She is currently receiving intensive Sequential English Education (SEE) training to become CALP-certified.
Mrs. Natera is married to her best friend, Felipe Natera, and has three adult children, and a granddaughter. In her free time, Mrs. Natera enjoys spending time with her family and crafting.
