Wendy Baker graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on children. She took her first job in educational administration in higher education working at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

After moving to Southlake, Mrs. Baker continued her work in educational administration by serving as Director for a private school servicing early elementary and preschool students. During that time, she founded Venture, a ministry for home educators who were looking for a college preparatory program for their students, and served as their Executive Director for over fourteen years.

Mrs. Baker co-founded the Bridgemark Center for Learning in 2014 and continues to serve the Bridgemark staff as a consultant. We are thankful for her experience and expertise in educational administration, training, counseling, admissions, and curriculum. Recently, Mrs. Baker has been working to earn her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification by completing her master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling and currently works at Alethia Family Counseling in College Station.

Wendy married Phil Baker in 1987, and they are blessed to have six amazing children. Whether it’s homeschooled families, students with learning differences, families seeking counseling, children with Type 1 Diabetes, or children in foster care, Wendy is passionate about supporting students and adults as they navigate challenges and build the skills needed to achieve their goals.
